Song of the Day 08/06/12: Gackt – Cube

The second J-Pop/Rock song I ever loved, after B’z “Love Phantom”.  So awesome.  I love the heavy bass part.  Most of all, I love the extremely emotional chorus.  If I could speak Japanese, I would totally sing along at the top of my lungs!  Who am I kidding?  I do anyway.

Song of the Day 07/12/12: Gackt – Blue

Gackt is an extremely eccentric Japanese rock and pop star, and actor.  He can play a vast number of instruments, and truly shines on piano and guitar.  I’ll have to make sure to put up some of his other music since “Blue” is pretty different from most of his material.  Keep an eye out for his album MARS, which reached #11 on my top albums of all time list!  Blue is an early B-side piano piece.  I’ve been exhausted this week and “Blue” always has a way of calming me down.  If any song ever made me want to learn how to play piano, this is it.
